Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer in 'Celestial' review & Swatches!!@@##

It's neither a lipstick nor a gloss.......It's BIGGER than both --- This is how Rimmel London describes its Apocalips Lip Lacquers. It means that these lip lacquers have the coverage and color pay off of a lipstick and the sheen and creaminess of a lip gloss. And it's true!!
Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer in 'Celestial'
Rimmel's Lip Lacquers come in a gorgeous packaging with a cap having fancy cuts. The bottom of the packaging shows the color of the product. The applicator is intelligently made. It has a steepy cut that carries enough of the product for one complete application. You don't need to put the applicator time and again into the tube to get the product.

They are available in 13 shades. These shades range from some most vibrant colors to some purely nude ones and also have shades for those who like to have something in between the vibrant and the nude shades. "Celestial" is one of them. Its a really nice mauve pink shade which is extremely wearable, particularly for college going girls and for working women.

Wear time is not more than 2-3 hours. As it has a creamy finish, it transfers a lot. However, it doesn't set into the fine lines which is a plus for me. Color set into the fine lines of lips gives a really tired and exhausted look to the face. This lip lacquer fades away evenly and leaves a natural stain to the lips...not bad!!!!
I totally avoid anything glossy on my lips during summers, so I have reserved this one for winters....long plans???I know!! One will definitely enjoy flaunting this gorgeous creamy lip lacquer during chilly December mornings...huh....
I got mine at a discounted price of 800 PKR from beautyarena.pk during their clearance sale and I am happy about my purchase :)

ARTDECO Perfect Color Lipsticks in 23 & 40 Review and Swatches!!

Lippie-stick :). Yes! that's the name. Please, don't underestimate the power of a lipstick ;). It is magic. It not only lends brightness to a dull face but also reveals the moods of ladies. No makeup is complete without a lipstick.

The markets are flooded with lipsticks of varying brands, textures, colours etc. but finding a "good" one is not easy-peasy. Recently, I got my hands on ARTDECO Perfect Color Lipsticks and they turned out to be pretty good. Today I am going to share my thoughts about these beauties. So, here we go!!

To begin with, the first thing that I like about this lipstick is its packaging. It has got a black  metallic body that makes it durable and weighty.

The shades I picked are 23 and 40. I would describe shade 23 as a natural nude pink and Shade 40 as a cinnamon brown. Both are extremely wearable, particularly, during daytime. Moreover, they are nicely pigmented. One stroke on the lips gives the right colour pay off. Below are the swatches:

The thing that I like MOST about these lipsticks is their lightweight, creamy and moisturizing texture. Thankfully, they don't give a heavyweight or greasy feel to the lips, neither do they set in fine lines.

Though these lipsticks are perfume free, they do have a strange smell. But the good thing is that this smell doesn't linger on and fades away after a few minutes of application. I have liked them so much that I am thinking of purchasing some more shades from ARTDECO's Perfect Color Lipstick range.

They stay on lips for good 3 hours but that without any eating/ drinking and require touch-ups.
I got mine from ARTDECO counter at Al-fatah Store for PKR 990 each.

I will give 4/5 to this product mainly due to its texture.

Hope you liked reading this review. I would love to know about your thoughts in the comment section :)
