Artedco Perfect Color Lipstick in '15': Review & Swatches

Assalam-o-alikum (Peace be unto you) my girls!!!

Spring is just around the corner and we want to make best of it. How about putting the colours of spring on your lips? And what can be better than bright corals and reds!!Today I will showcase a similar springy lip colour that you are surely going to like. It's going to be a mini review and the lip colour is Artedco Perfect Color Lipstick in 15.

As I have already did a detailed review on lipsticks by Artdeco, this time I'll be just talking about the color. Artdeco tends to give numbers to their lipstick shades rather than names. Well! Talking about number 15 lipstick, it is a beauuuutiiiifullll coral red, perfect for fall and spring.  It lends an instant glow and freshness to your face. It has a moisturizing formula, which is great as you can flaunt this lipstick round the year without being bothered about the weather. To sum it all, I am in LOVE with this beauty.
It gets a 5/5 from my side.
Hope you liked the lipstick. Do let me know by leaving your views in the comment section below.

Freeman Facial Clay Mask Avocado & Oatmeal: Review & Swatches

Once I had consumed my Freeman Facial anti-stress mask Dead Sea Minerals, I decided to give a try to some other mask. Ohh....standing right in front of the masks' shelf, I found it too difficult to set my eyes off these sooo tempting masks....again by Freeman. After much thought, I settled for two masks from their range. One of them is Freeman Facial Clay Mask Avocado & Oatmeal which I am going to review today.

What Freeman claims this mask does: Nourish and purify with one amazing mask! Rich clay dives deep to purge dust and oils from pores. Nutrient- rich Vitamin E, Avocado and Oatmeal moisturize for lasting skin softness. Skin looks and feels squeaky clean and is soft to the touch. Perfect for normal to combination skin.

My thoughts: This mask carries a set of vocabulary that catches the attention of anyone concerned about good healthy skin. Avocado, clay and oatmeal; all offer many benefits to the skin. Avocado being rich in antioxidants, vitamin C & E, and Fatty acids, not only improves overall health of the skin but also helps maintaining skin's moisture. Clay helps purify the skin of dirt and impurities. Oatmeal in itself can be used in many ways and serves as a perfect face mask. It absorbs oil, lends moisture to skin, is anti-aging and used for acne- treatment as well. Having all these things in mind, I had high expectations of this mask. How did it turn out to be? Read on!
My findings: This mask comes in a beautiful mint green color. I love the texture of this mask as it glides effortlessly on the skin. It takes 15 - 20 minutes to dry out completely depending upon the thickness of the layer applied.

This is how it looks after drying out:

It squeezes the skin tight after drying out which not only tightens the pores but also increases the blood circulation in skin which leads to a younger looking radiant skin. After washing the mask off, my face feels smooth and fresh. Though it absorbs oils from the skin, it does not dry the skin which is great!
I recommend using this mask twice a week. I prefer using it particularly after exfoliation. It feels as if my skin thanks me when I apply it on my face. It soothes my skin and I just love its feel on my face.
Honestly speaking, that's all I expect from a face mask and this one has pretty much lived up to my expectations. And for the price, it's a steal. You get 150 ml of the product for 325 PKR.
It gets a 4.5/5 from me.
I hope this review ends up helpful to you.

October Haul!!!

Throughout the summers I have been using powder foundations to keep my skin matte, though without much success. But now winters are around the corner and for me it is time to switch to liquid foundations. Since long I had been thinking to buy a flat top kabuki brush for the flawless application of liquid foundations, but hefty price tags kept me from doing so. Finally, I made my mind to invest some money in theses beauty essentials. I searched through several online stores for this purpose and, to my surprise, during this search I came across some awesome brushes by color studio professional. I never knew about them before. These brushes saved me enough money that resulted in the recent haul :)
I got all this stuff from beautyarena.pk. I really appreciate the variety of products being offered at beautyarena.pk.
Here is what I got:

  1. Color Studio Professional Taklon Dome Powder Blush for 1050 PKR.
  2. Color Studio Professional Flat Top Kabuki Brush for 1250 PKR.
  3. Color Studio Professional Blush in 'Pixie Pink' for 750 PKR.
  4. Essence Quattro Eye Shadow in 'To die for 05' for 530 PKR.

Milani Shadow Eyez12 Hr Wear Eyeshadow in '02 Brown Deluxe' Review, swatches & EOTD :)

Milani Shadow Eyez 12 Hr Wear Eyeshadow Pencils are available in 12 pretty colors. Below is how Milani describes this product:

One pencil, multiple eye-catching ways to use it. A shadow, liner and highlighter in one, it’s water-resistant and crease-proof – two stellar qualities in an eye makeup product! Sharpened to a fine point, it defines. Softly smudged, it adds color – 12 shades in all, from neutrals to brights. Swept under the brow bone in one of the paler hues, it catches the light. Clearly, this pencil is as versatile as it is beautiful.

Today I will review Mialni Shadow Eyez 12 Hr Wear Eyeshadow in 'Brown Deluxe'.

The product description by Milani is so apt that I don't feel the need to add any more. 'Brown Deluxe' is a beautiful shimmery copper brown shade. This neutral shade can be used to create a variety of day as well as party looks. Stroke it simply as an eyeliner on the upper and the lower lid of the eye or use it as an eyeshadow, it looks great both ways....all depends upon your creativity. If you want to use it as an eyeshadow, smudge it onto the eyelid immediately after application as it tends to get firm on drying. It is crease-proof. Milani claims it to be water-resistant....yes, it is water-resistant but to some extent. The colour is not stubborn and goes off easily when washed. The formula is highly-pigmented and long-lasting too. I have tried to create two looks using this pencil. Here they are:

These eyeshadow pencils are easily available on just4girls.pk and beautyarena.pk for 950 PKR. You may also get it from www.milanicosmetics.com.pk.

Overall, there is nothing that I dislike about this product. It gets a 4/5.

Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer in 'Celestial' review & Swatches!!@@##

It's neither a lipstick nor a gloss.......It's BIGGER than both --- This is how Rimmel London describes its Apocalips Lip Lacquers. It means that these lip lacquers have the coverage and color pay off of a lipstick and the sheen and creaminess of a lip gloss. And it's true!!
Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer in 'Celestial'
Rimmel's Lip Lacquers come in a gorgeous packaging with a cap having fancy cuts. The bottom of the packaging shows the color of the product. The applicator is intelligently made. It has a steepy cut that carries enough of the product for one complete application. You don't need to put the applicator time and again into the tube to get the product.

They are available in 13 shades. These shades range from some most vibrant colors to some purely nude ones and also have shades for those who like to have something in between the vibrant and the nude shades. "Celestial" is one of them. Its a really nice mauve pink shade which is extremely wearable, particularly for college going girls and for working women.

Wear time is not more than 2-3 hours. As it has a creamy finish, it transfers a lot. However, it doesn't set into the fine lines which is a plus for me. Color set into the fine lines of lips gives a really tired and exhausted look to the face. This lip lacquer fades away evenly and leaves a natural stain to the lips...not bad!!!!
I totally avoid anything glossy on my lips during summers, so I have reserved this one for winters....long plans???I know!! One will definitely enjoy flaunting this gorgeous creamy lip lacquer during chilly December mornings...huh....
I got mine at a discounted price of 800 PKR from beautyarena.pk during their clearance sale and I am happy about my purchase :)

ARTDECO Perfect Color Lipsticks in 23 & 40 Review and Swatches!!

Lippie-stick :). Yes! that's the name. Please, don't underestimate the power of a lipstick ;). It is magic. It not only lends brightness to a dull face but also reveals the moods of ladies. No makeup is complete without a lipstick.

The markets are flooded with lipsticks of varying brands, textures, colours etc. but finding a "good" one is not easy-peasy. Recently, I got my hands on ARTDECO Perfect Color Lipsticks and they turned out to be pretty good. Today I am going to share my thoughts about these beauties. So, here we go!!

To begin with, the first thing that I like about this lipstick is its packaging. It has got a black  metallic body that makes it durable and weighty.

ARTDECO Perfect Color Lipstick in 23
ARTDECO Perfect Color Lipstick in 40
The shades I picked are 23 and 40. I would describe shade 23 as a natural nude pink and Shade 40 as a cinnamon brown. Both are extremely wearable, particularly, during daytime. Moreover, they are nicely pigmented. One stroke on the lips gives the right colour pay off. Below are the swatches:

The thing that I like MOST about these lipsticks is their lightweight, creamy and moisturizing texture. Thankfully, they don't give a heavyweight or greasy feel to the lips, neither do they set in fine lines.

Though these lipsticks are perfume free, they do have a strange smell. But the good thing is that this smell doesn't linger on and fades away after a few minutes of application. I have liked them so much that I am thinking of purchasing some more shades from ARTDECO's Perfect Color Lipstick range.

They stay on lips for good 3 hours but that without any eating/ drinking and require touch-ups.
I got mine from ARTDECO counter at Al-fatah Store for PKR 990 each.

I will give 4/5 to this product mainly due to its texture.

Hope you liked reading this review. I would love to know about your thoughts in the comment section :)
